In an International Facility Management survey, 95% of owner operated facility professionals say sustainability is an important issue for their profession, and most are taking steps now. 88% recycle solid waste, 78% employ daylighting, and 67% purchase recycled office products. Their reasons: improved employee health and productivity (76%); cost savings (72%); and environmental responsibility (65%).
