Urban Equation is the Windmill Group’s advisory arm. It was created as a vehicle to share knowledge and help shift our industry towards better environmental and social outcomes.
Where Windmill Developments is directly engaged in developing and financing successful real estate projects of its own or in partnership, Urban Equation advises others – including developers, private companies and all levels of government – how to do this on their own development projects.
Urban Equation has led the creation of sustainability plans on more mixed-use and complex real estate development projects than any other Canadian sustainability consulting practice. We use a whole systems approach to help developers and municipalities incorporate environmental and social sustainability into their projects.
